Back into the fray, or would that be out of the fray ;-), today is turning interesting. Dhammapada XV verse 205 would sum it up, and here are two different translations for your enjoyment:
Drinking the nourishment,
the flavor, of seclusion & calm, one is freed from evil, devoid of distress, refreshed with the nourishment of rapture in the Dhamma. Translated from the Pali by Thanissaro Bhikkhu.
Having savored the taste of solitude and peace (of Nibbana),
pain-free and stainless he becomes, drinking deep the taste of the bliss of the Truth. Translated from the Pali by Acharya Buddharakkhita. |
